SENIORIAN
In the centre of our flag we see a silhouette of an elderly couple.
They are in the centre because our people are valuable. Everything we do and everything we stand for is linked with being old. Our whole community is built to serve seniors and to make their last days count.
The blue colours in our flag stand for wisdom, loyalty, unity and faith. Four words that describe our country because of our greying population. The inhabitants of Seniorian have gone through a lot which gives them the knowledge of the world.
Blue is also known to give piece in the body and mind and it also represents the beautiful sea that surrounds our country.
In Seniorian the colour grey stands for pure beauty and being natural. Every inhabitant dreams about becoming grey-haired therefore we had to add the colour grey to our national flag.
The colour white is linked with heaven, faith and our God of ages. On the 5thof October we have a national holiday in honour of the God of ages. All of our inhabitants put white flowers around the temples. Because of the particular habit we had to add the colour white in to our flag.
